Chabahar port in the northern part of the Sea of Oman because of the benefit of a strategic location for the transit of goods Transshipment and ports of the Persian Gulf, Afghanistan and Central Asia could play a special role. The strategic position of this port and its location in the axis of development of the east of the country, has caused the Ports and Maritime Organization to formulate and implement a comprehensive development plan in the form of a medium-term plan. Some of these programs include the construction of two berths for container with a length of 640 m and a draft of 16 meters and 3 berths multipurpose length of 580 meters to a depth of 14 meters and dredging 17 million cubic meters to a depth of 16 m and reclaiming land to the 195 Hectares pointed out.
